Fabrica Tango Academy

Branding

Fabrica Tango Academy is Washington DC's première school for Argentine tango training. They asked me to develop a logo and brand that is modern and edgy but classy too.

Their logo came together by focusing on their role as a teaching academy and what happens between two tango dancers (represented by the diagonal lines). Inspired by the name "Fabrica", I incorporated paint splatters to convey the warehouse feel they liked and kept colors moody and warm. Photography choices were defined by focusing on the body and its movement in dance.
